The Hispanic Motor Press Foundation (HMPF)  is proud to present our annual Scholarship Program to help deserving Hispanic/Latinx students in the United States  achieve their educational goals.

HMPF recognizes outstanding academic achievement and community service among Hispanic/Latinx undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a career in journalism, design, and related communications fields. In addition to financial assistance, scholarship recipients will be introduced to executives at leading media. PR agencies, and corporate organizations who are a part of the HMPF.

ABOUT SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

The Hispanic Motor Press Foundation will award a scholarship to a full-time Hispanic student enrolled in a national accredited undergraduate or graduate journalism program who demonstrates the potential to become the next generation of Hispanic  automotive journalist. 

To  be considered for this scholarship applicants  must  submit  journalism work samples in print, text, digital, photo, and/or broadcast media. The work will be reviewed by the scholarship committee and the award will go to the best representative that can embrace the future of mobility and inform the consumer in several media formats. 

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

We have scholarship opportunities if you are:

  • Following a career in journalism, public relations, design.
  • Committed to your education.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Participate in community service, extracurricular activities and/or work experience related to your studies.
  • Current resident  in the United States.
  • Need financial assistance for school .

Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire the best and brightest Latino students to graduate and lead through scholarships, internships, and leadership training. We do that by supporting young Hispanics pursuing a career in journalism focusing on the vehicle and transportation industries, with emphasis on the technology of the motor vehicle. Hispanic college students or graduating high schools seniors are eligible for this scholarship. Applicants must be attending or planning to attend university with   emphasis in a journalism or broadcast degree.
