Finalist for Best cars of the Year 2019 are here.

The 9th annual Hispanic Motor Press Awards will recognizes the ten best new vehicles of 2019 for the Hispanic consumer. The awards are organized by the Hispanic Motor Press Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c)3 educational organization that helps educate Hispanics on finding the best value vehicles in the market through grass roots efforts and events.

The finalist represents the most significant cars in the market and the best value in their class as it relates to the Hispanic family. The 2019 finalist are:

Sub-compact car:       Ford Fiesta / KIA Rio5 / Toyota Yaris

Compact car:              Hyundai Veloster N / VW Golf / KIA Forte

Sedan car:                  Toyota Camry / Nissan Altima / Hyundai Sonata

Deluxe car:                 Acura RDX / Genesis G70 /Volvo XC40

Minivan:                      KIA Sedona / Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid / Mazda CX9

 Crossover:                  Ford Edge / Hyundai Kona / Honda CR-V

 SUV:                            Hyundai Santa Fe / Lincoln Nautillus / Buick Enclave

 Sports car:                  Chevrolet Corvette / Ford Mustang / Fiat 124 Abarth

 Adventure 4×4:           Jeep Wrangler / Toyota 4Runner / Ram Power Wagon

 Pick-up Truck:             Ram 1500 / Nissan Titan / Ford F-150

Each vehicle’s virtues were assessed as they related to the typical Hispanic family in the U.S. The awards’ vetting process includes test drives, mass market availability, and affordability data valuations. The committee took into account overall design, comfort, safety, performance, functionality, accessory content, driver satisfaction, consumer final cost, and overall value package to select the vehicles that offer the best value for the Hispanic consumer.
